Canopy Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm targeting information technology companies in the western United States.  Our primary areas of focus include enterprise software, IP video technologies, networking and communications, security software, WI-FI broadcasting, IT hosting and software as a service.

Our strategy is to invest in companies with the potential for transforming markets and provide Board level guidance and experience to ensure their success.  Established in 1995, Canopy continues to operate by Founder Ray Noorda’s vision of accelerating the growth of emerging information technology companies.

Our team has served as Officers of public companies, as well as entrepreneurs in venture backed entities with successful exits.  As a result, our team has the background and experience to assist today’s entrepreneurs, while providing an environment for innovation and business success.
